Back in 2023, we made the commitment to sponsor a brand-new junior rugby league team, the Schofields Crusaders, helping them launch in their inaugural season as well as supporting them in the 2024 season. The Schofields Crusaders operate in the Penrith Junior Rugby League scene, providing children who are interested in rugby a platform to compete and exercise.
When the Schofields Crusaders started in 2023, they represented the dedication of a few passionate people committed to bringing junior rugby league to the Schofields area. As their inaugural sponsor, our goal was simple: provide the essential support and resources needed to get those first teams on the field, allowing the kids to focus on learning and playing the game they love.
Today, we are thrilled to share that the Schofields Crusaders have exploded in size! In just over a year since their launch, the club now boasts 19 local rugby league teams!
This phenomenal growth means that hundreds of children in the 6 to 14 age group (both boys and girls) are now getting active, learning teamwork, and enjoying the thrill of rugby league. It is a testament to the hard work of the club's volunteers, coaches and committee.
